Thoughtful Design, From the Ground Up
At Huckabee Design Group, we believe the spaces surrounding a home should feel every bit as considered as the spaces within it.
From gardens and swimming pools to terraces, entryways and outdoor furnishings, we approach each property as a whole, creating outdoor environments that are beautiful, functional and distinctly connected to the architecture and character of the home.
Whether developing a comprehensive plan for an entire property or reimagining a single space, Huckabee Design Group brings together landscape, architecture, materials and finishing details to create places meant to be lived in and enjoyed.
Landscape & Garden Design
A beautiful landscape begins with a thoughtful plan. We design gardens and grounds that complement the architecture of the home while responding to the way each client wants to experience the property.
Our landscape and garden design services include:
- Master garden plans
- Conceptual garden design

From formal gardens with carefully defined geometry to lush, relaxed plantings that evolve throughout the seasons, every landscape is designed with an eye toward proportion, texture, color and longevity.
Pools & Outdoor Living
The best outdoor spaces become a natural extension of the home.
Huckabee Design Group designs pools, spas and gathering spaces with the entire property in mind, considering architecture, landscape, circulation and sightlines together rather than treating each element separately.
Services include:
- Swimming pool and spa design
- Pool deck and surrounding garden design
- Patios, porches and terraces
- Covered porches
- Pergolas and awnings
- Fire pits and outdoor fireplaces

- Sheds and other garden structures
The result is an outdoor environment that feels intentional from every angle, whether viewed through a window, approached from the garden or enjoyed with family and friends.
Architectural Details & Furnishings
Sometimes the details that transform a property aren't large ones.
Huckabee Design Group can help refine the exterior character of a home through carefully selected architectural accents, furnishings and finishes that bring the house and landscape into conversation with one another.
Services include:
- Exterior paint color consultation
- Shutters
- Lanterns and exterior lighting accents
- Exterior hardware
- Custom planters and containers

- Indoor/outdoor furniture placement
- Fabric selection and upholstery
- Decorative and functional exterior accents
- Trash can and service-area enclosures
These finishing touches help create a sense of continuity throughout the property, ensuring that even the smallest elements contribute to the overall design.
Seasonal & Event Design
A home can change with the season, and sometimes the occasion calls for something extraordinary.
Huckabee Design Group offers seasonal and special-event design that transforms familiar spaces through greenery, florals, containers, decorative elements and carefully considered details.
From autumn displays and holiday decorating to special gatherings and celebrations, we create environments tailored to the home, the season and the occasion.
